Anderton Platform Copings supplied for North West Stations
Anderton Concrete have completed supply of their Platform Copings to the latest phase of the North West Stations Platform Lengthening Programme. As pictured, the Standard Anderton Platform Copings (930x760x100) are currently being installed in a traditional grey colour. Anderton manufacture various sizes in either an 'as cast' or 'exposed aggregate' finish and also have the expertise to offer bespoke copers in a variety of sizes, colours and surface finishes. Please contact our sales office on 01606 79436 for further information.

Anderton attend NMBS 2014 Exhibition (11.4.2014)
Thanks to all those who attended this year's NMBS exhibition at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and visited us on the day. Slope-Loc supplied to Barratt Homes - 22.4.2013
A new housing development at Felpham near Bognor Regis for Barratt Homes has recently been supplied with just over 100m2 of Slope-Loc in Yorkstone colour. The initial inquiry for the project came via MJA Consulting of Abingdon, who were looking for an alternative solution for the client to Gabion baskets, in order to provide more usuable land on certain plots on the new development and be easier to install due to other site restrictions. Slope-Loc proved a viable solution and a design for the walls was produced and submitted to Barratt Homes who then accepted the solution and proceded via their sub-contractor John Reilly Civil Engineering. Slope-Loc can be installed with or without geogrid to provide a cost effective alternative to Gabions or Crib Walls and its attractive design...

Anderton Presents at Geotex (9.10.2013)
Geotex is a unique, free to attend, independently run series of regional seminars that focus on the Geotechnical sector of the Construction Industry. The seminar programme allows the sector’s key specialists to network with engineers, contractors and other industry professionals. Anderton Concrete Products presented one of the eight seminars at the most recent event that was held in Cardiff City Hall. Tim Fields, Civils Divisional Manager, used the allotted 25 minute session to talk to around 80 delegates on the range of dry laid retaining wall systems that the company has to offer. Railtex 2015
Railtex 2015 took place at the NEC in Birmingham from 12-14 May and proved to be a very succesful show for Anderton Concrete. Promoting several new innovations the team was kept very busy from Day 1. The recent ORR Prohibition Notices generated a lot of questions about concrete troughing and its suitability for use on site. The team were able to reassure customer and end users that Anderton has already a range of Network Rail approved products which meet all the requirements and allow a seamless transition from standard concrete to the new Reduced Weight units. Keystone BBA Certificate updated (23.7.2014)
Anderton Concrete Products are the UK Licensee for the Keystone Retaining Wall System and have now updated their BBA Roads & Bridges Certificate to the re-branded version, a HAPAS (Highway Authority Product Approval Scheme) Certificate. • The process for creating HAPAS certificates is the same as Roads and Bridges• The technical requirements are unchanged• The input and acceptance of the Highway Authorities is unchanged• Existing certificates will remain valid until withdrawn or reissued in the new forma

The Anderlite Troughing System combines the strengths and benefits of traditional methods, plus a reduction in weight of up to 30%. This lightweight advantage is both user-friendly and cost effective. Anderton Concrete took the opportunity to officially launch four new products at Infrarail 2014. The Anderton stand was strategically positioned within the Rail Alliance Hub which provided ideal exposure for new product launch. Anderton Sales Director Shaun Forrester commented “Infrarail 2014 was an excellent opportunity to showcase our new rail innovations as well as an ideal platform to display our precast retaining wall products”.
